Hello Neighbors,
The PPNA Sustainability Committee is seeking your input. What does SUSTAINABILITY mean to you? What would you like to see from the PPNA Sustainability Committee, going forward?
Let us know using this google form, and please share the link with your neighbors:
Allison Blood is the Chairperson for the newly launched PPNA Sustainability Committee. This will be a committee to continue with Beautification efforts, collaborate with Greening efforts, and rebrand with Sustainability efforts in our neighborhood. To get started, we want to hear from you to help the Sustainability Committee take shape.
Allison moved to the Patterson Park Neighborhood in 2019. She has a background in Environmental Science and a passion for living sustainably. Hailing from the Tar Heel State, Allison has experience in consulting, communications, and real estate. Allison has used her skills to market and grow the Don't Waste Durham program's GreenToGo take-out container service, run educational campaigns for water and energy conservation, and advocate and network at large-scale regional events for sustainable living solutions. Allison brings her skills to the PPNA Sustainability Committee with enthusiasm, and a drive for connecting people with information.
"Sustainability" is about “meeting our own needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.” There are three pillars of sustainability: the environment, society, and economics. Which elements of sustainability are important to you, your family, and our community?
